The Summer program takes place between December and March – we are in the Southern Hemisphere, so “Summer” make reference to our seasons. The schedule may vary according to universities’ and VTEX’s calendars.

If you’ve been admitted to the Internship Program, you’ll need to be still enrolled during all the experience, between December and March.

You will be assigned with a project that has the right balance between defined scope and open questions, which will push you to deal with relevant technical decisions and develop your knowledge while you’re at it. The project’s milestones will be your guide to manage your journey.

The program will be hybrid, with one week of office experience to give the interns a taste of VTEX culture and provide an immersive learning experience. VTEX will cover all costs related to transportation and accommodation during the Internship’s office experience.

The candidate will go through technical phases, such as online tests and interviews, and close the process with an interview that evaluates them under VTEX’s cultural perspectives. The 2025 Summer Internship Selection Process will happen between September and November 2024 and it can take about 10 weeks. Each candidate will be previously notified before the process starts, as well as about each phase’s results.
